SemantiCAD has been in active development since 3 June 2026. This counter shows calendar days from day one. What we ship lands in the public dev journal.

Increments at midnight Istanbul time. Not a vanity metric: calendar days.

§ 01 — OBSERVATION AND METHOD

Problem and method

OBSERVATION

Quoting still runs by hand

  1. 1.1 BOM is read manually on every drawing
  2. 1.2 Stock lives in another system; cost is guessed
  3. 1.3 Lead time and routing stay on paper
  4. 1.4 Fast customer quotes get harder; error rate climbs

METHOD

One flow: drawing to plan

  1. 2.1
    Bill of materials

BOM extracted automatically — block, table, heuristic, single-part, AI neural and STEP assembly

  2. 2.2
    Stock match

Semantic match against a 2,095-item inventory with risk signals

  3. 2.3
    Cost estimate

Material vs labour split, TRY production cost

  4. 2.4
    Lead time

Delivery estimate, critical path and revision deltas

  5. 2.5
    Production plan

Lathe, mill, weld, grind — ordered actions with machine hints

  6. 2.6
    3D preview

Validate the drawing with hole select, measure and edge geometry

§ 02 — SPEC SHEET

Why SemantiCAD

S.01Turkish-firstRecognises local BOM layouts like PARÇA LİSTESİ and MALZEME LİSTESİ
S.02Edge-firstDrawings stay on your machine; cloud burst is optional
S.03Real stock dataMatch against a 2,095-item real workshop inventory
S.04AI-assistedCost, lead time and production actions powered by AI
S.05Sovereign HybridLocal parse by default; ephemeral cloud for heavy AI — drawings are not retained

§ 03 — FLOW DIAGRAM

How it works

  1. 01

    Upload drawing

Drop a DXF, DWG or STEP file.

    Offline queue · 3D preview
  2. 02

    BOM analysis

The parts list is extracted automatically.

    BOMROW · ACAD_TABLE · Neural parse
  3. 03

    Match stock

BOM lines are matched to inventory.

    2,095 items · Risk summary
  4. 04

    Production plan

Cost, lead time and actions are generated.

  • DAY 54

Geometry truth: DXF gold and SSOT

Gold fixtures and an eval harness for parse quality. drawing_dimensions ≡ drawing_features.summary ≡ stock input.

  • DAY 48

    One fleet, one app URL

Organisation isolation, app.semanticad.ai and hard-fail auth decisions locked in.

  • DAY 38

Stock risk, cost and export flow

Matching against 2,095 stock items, TRY cost and Excel/PDF/ERP push are maturing.

  • DAY 23

    STEP assemblies and 3D preview

3D assembly parse plus viewer measure/hole select — drawing validation hit the bench.

  • DAY 14

    Production intelligence v0.2

Cost estimate, lead time and LLM-backed operation plans wired end-to-end for the first time.

QUERY

FAQ

What does SemantiCAD do?

It helps mechanical workshops derive BOM, stock match, cost and lead time from DXF, DWG and STEP files. Output is a production plan and quote skeleton.

Do my drawings go to the cloud?

Edge-first is the default: drawings process locally or on infrastructure you control. Cloud burst is optional; drawings are not retained in permanent cloud storage.

Which file formats are supported?

DXF is primary. DWG and STEP/STP assemblies are also supported.

Where does stock data come from?

From your organisation-scoped inventory. Seed/demo uses a 2,095-item real Turkish shop inventory; in production stock CSV/ERP is yours.

Are cost and lead time guaranteed?

No. Outputs support decisions. Final engineering and commercial responsibility stays with the user. Estimates should be validated against fixtures and shop data.

Who can join the pilot?

Mechanical production shops in Turkey that can share real drawings and stock CSV, and are willing to test a few parts per week.

How long has development been running?

Since 3 June 2026. The site shows a day counter and a public dev journal.

Does it connect to ERP?

REST webhook push is supported (simulate and live modes) with a configurable auth header.

PROTOCOL — PILOT

Pilot program

We work with real shop drawings. Pilot means early access and validating the product on your parts.
